Welcome to Net Partner- VanderCook College of Music 's financial aid system!
WHAT IS AVAILABLE IN NET PARTNER?
- Check the status of your financial aid application
- View your financial aid awards
- Accept or decline awards using the Accept Awards located on menu drop down and Submit
- View Documents located on menu drop down to view documents received and those still outstanding
- Review Messages pertinent to your financial aid award
- Check the status of your awards, student loans and lifetime award
A complete financial aid application consists of a valid Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for all undergraduate applicants for admission who are interested in receiving need-based financial aid and for current undergraduates who are interested in receiving need-based financial aid or a Federal PLUS loan. The FAFSA will need to be completed annually.
How to Apply for Financial Aid
- Apply for VanderCook College of Music admissions.
- Get a Federal Student Aid ID.
- Complete the Free Application for Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

- Students selected for Federal verification should check the Documents menu drop down for additional form requirements. Please submit missing documents at your earliest convenience. Keep a copy for your records.
- All students are responsible for accessing their financial aid information through this web site.
Log In Instructions
FIRST TIME USER
Use the LOG IN BOX above.
Then choose, FIRST TIME USER within the LOG IN BOX. Do not type your VanderCook Email before choosing First-Time User.
Insert your VanderCook Email. Your VanderCook student Email is the email that ends in @vandercook.edu.
You will now be prompted to Activate Your Account by completing the verification steps (answer both verification questions). Once there, you will choose security questions from the drop down arrows. After security question selection, ensure you have placed an answer in each Answer Box.
You will then be prompted to choose a password chosen by you as a First Time user when creating a Net Partner account. This password must be at least 9 characters, include at least 1 uppercase letter, 1 lowercase letter, 1 number and 1 symbol (!@#$%^&) and expires every 90 days.
After completing your password information, review Site Terms and Conditions, check if you agree to terms and Submit.
You are now registered and can utilize your new account to access your Financial Aid information.
RETURNING USER
If you have visited Net Partner on a prior occasion you are a returning user. If you have forgotten or misplaced your password, it can be reset by contacting our office by email wthompson@vandercook.edu. Your login username for NetParter is your VanderCook Email Address.
NEW!! Net Partner password requirements. Password must include at least 9 characters, one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one number, and 1 special character (!@#$%^&*). Password expiration is 90 days and five unique passwords must be used before one can be used again.
You must have a financial aid record (Current Year Completed FAFSA) already established at VanderCook College of Music in order to use this system. If you have not begun the financial aid FAFSA application process, you can get started by completing online the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. Enter our school code, 001778, on your application and we will automatically receive a copy.
